eDreams ODIGEO is one of the world’s largest online travel companies and one of the largest European e-commerce businesses. With a presence in 46 markets, we are Europe’s largest flight retailer, serving over 18 million customers last year.

Our History

eDreams was founded in 1999 by Javier Perez-Tenessa, James Hare and Mauricio Prieto with venture capital firms from Europe and the United States. The company completed two leveraged buyouts, one in 2006 (TA Associate) and the second one in 2010 (Permira), where all former shareholders sold their holdings (full secondary). The company combined with Go Voyages and acquired Opodo during 2011 and became eDreams ODIGEO. Dana Philip Dunne was appointed CEO in January 2015.
